NVIDIA introduced the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB, a top-tier graphics card, on May 18, 2023. Based on the 5 nm technology, the AD106 graphics processor serves as its foundation. The card contains 48 ROPs, 136 texture mapping units, and 4352 shading units. 34 raytracing acceleration cores and 136 tensor cores are also included. A boost clock speed of 2535 MHz and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory are features of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB. It has a maximum power consumption of 160 W and only uses one 16-pin connection. The card outputs to three DisplayPort 1.4a connections and one HDMI 2.1 port. It has 48 ROPs, 136 texture mapping units, and 4352 shading units. 136 tensor cores are also included, which accelerate machine learning applications. 34 acceleration cores for raytracing are included on the board. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB and 8 GB of GDDR6 RAM have been matched by NVIDIA and are connected through a 128-bit memory interface. The RAM runs at 2250 MHz (18 Gbps effective), while the GPU operates at 2310 MHz, with a boost to 2535 MHz. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB is a dual-slot card that uses one 16-pin power connector with a maximum power demand of 160 W. Some display outputs are: 3 DisplayPort 1.4a, 1 HDMI 2.1. A PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface is used to link the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB to the rest of the hardware. The card has a dual-slot cooling system and dimensions of 240 mm x 111 mm x 40 mm. At debut, it cost 399 US dollars.
Additional
information regarding the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB is provided below:
- It is made to work with DirectX 12 Ultimate, which
supports variable-rate shading and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
- Due to its tensor cores, it can also execute machine
learning applications.
- Under load, the card's dual-slot cooling system helps
to keep it cool and quiet.
- Its affordable pricing of $399 USD makes it a suitable
choice for both creative workers and gamers.

Benchmark Results on RTX 4060TI
Benchmarking results show that the
RTX 4060 Ti routinely outperforms the RTX 3060 Ti in a number of games and
programs. The RTX 4060 Ti has even occasionally outscored the RTX 3070 in
several tests. Some of the benchmark results are as follows:
Cyberpunk 2077 (1080p Ultra)
90 FPS
Red Dead Redemption 2 (1440p
Ultra) 75 FPS
Fortnite (1080p Competitive)
240 FPS
Adobe Premiere Pro (4K Export)

DLSS Performance
As always with DLSS 3 and Frame
Generation, it is quite stunning, but it is only available in games that do
support it. There is a lot of momentum behind the technology and a growing list
of compatible titles, but there will inevitably come a time when a new game is
published without a DLSS 3 day-one patch or without any support at all. And
there, you'll have to rely on traditional raster hardware, which won't provide
you the same next-generation experience as Nvidia's excellent AI software
stack.
